Sennheiser Infrared Television Listening Device

The Sennheiser Set 830 S is an infra-red stereo TV assistive listening system which is perfect for wearers of hearing aids. Directly connectable to a TV, hi-fi system or radio, the cordless Set 830 S guarantees outstanding sound quality. The user can add a induction loop to use with a hearing aid telecoil. The device can also be connected with good quality earbuds to use without a hearing aid.

 

Amplicon PowerTel 580 Phone

This amplified cordless telephone (DECT) with answering machine is ideal for the hard of hearing and hearing aid users. The integrated answering machine is capable of 11 minutes of recording time. The PowerTel 580 Amplified Telephone is capable of two programmable personalised settings allowing different users to operate the telephone with their prefered personal settings; the volume and tone control of this amplified telephone for the hard of hearing can be set according to the user's preference and saved for when the user wishes to use the phone.

The Power Tel 580 Amplified Telephone is hearing aid compatible and comes with a connection for a headset or an induction loop. There is also a handsfree speakerphone on the handset

 

TV Adapters

Oticon-TVAdaptorTV adapters, the actual size is only three inches wide, is easy to install and daily use with hearing aid specific controllers, is both userfriendly and secure. TV listening starts just by pressing the audio button on your hearing aid device. The hearing aids will react immediately if the phone rings and pressing the device’s phone button will automatically switch the sound from TV to phone so the call can be taken.

Phone Adapters

Oticon-PhoneAdaptorTwo hearing aid companies have devices that allow hearing aid users to finally talk on the phone, watch TV and listen to music with just as much ease as everyone else.
